The restaurant features a classic hotel-style open buffet layout with clearly defined sections, making it super convenient to navigate and serve yourself.
👫 Service Experience
The staff were incredibly attentive—almost too quick to clear plates, haha! Even before I could snap a photo of my crab shells, they were gone. Friendly and thoughtful, they even helped queue for freshly steamed female crabs when the kitchen brought them out.
🧡 Sashimi & Sushi
The sashimi is sliced fresh to order—and thick-cut, which is a generous touch. The sushi is also well-made and delicious.
💛 Seafood Selection
A solid variety of seafood is available: sea snails, shrimp, mussels, oysters, and more. I was so focused on the crab that I didn’t try much else, but the shrimp I had was fresh and tasty.
💚 Local Beijing Flavors
A fun surprise was the selection of traditional Beijing dishes: lamb spine stew, lu zhu (braised offal), fish ball soup, and various snacks like fu ling (Poria) egg yolk pastries and candied fruits. It really adds a local, nostalgic touch.
💙 Desserts & Cakes
The cakes are what you’d expect from a five-star hotel—beautifully presented and reliably good. While none stood out as exceptional, none disappointed either. A standout was the sago dessert drink—sweet, refreshing, and unfortunately gone early!
💜 Drinks & Beverages
Juice options include pineapple, mango, and grape, alongside coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks. A fun addition was the DIY bubble tea station—though the flavor was just okay, it’s a cute touch.
🖤 Hot Dishes
The hot dishes were decent but understandably overshadowed by the seafood. Still, worth sampling a bit of everything to get a feel for the variety.
🤍 Ice Cream
Six flavors to choose from—personally loved the strawberry for its rich, fruity taste.
Though the selection isn’t massive, it’s curated with care and quality in mind. For the price, the variety, freshness, and five-star setting make this buffet a truly worthwhile experience.
