Shanghai Buffet—Social Show

The St. Regis Hotel’s Social Show restaurant never disappoints when it comes to flavor! It was my first time trying their buffet, and I’ve always loved the hotel’s elegant atmosphere—especially their afternoon tea, which I visit often.

The buffet dining area is just as refined and stylish, with a great ambiance and excellent service. The overall dining experience was truly enjoyable.

🍤 A Wide Variety of Food Stations
From fresh seafood and grilled meats to beef, desserts, fruits, beverages, and even Peking duck—there’s something for everyone!

This time, the [King Crab Seafood & Australian Wagyu Feast] really impressed me. The selection was abundant, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh.

🔸 Seafood
Every table was loaded with king crab legs and steamed oysters—a true celebration of the sea!

The king crab legs were firm, juicy, and satisfying with every bite.
The steamed oysters retained their natural sweetness and briny juices—so good I finished a plate in minutes.
Other fresh options included snow crab legs, mussels, clams, and tiger prawns.

🔸 Grill & BBQ
Authentic Brazilian-style grilled meats were served with a variety of house-made dipping sauces.

Skewers of beef, chicken, pork ribs, and sausages were all perfectly charred and flavorful.
The Australian Wagyu, grilled to order, was so tender and rich—I couldn’t resist going back for more.

🔸 Desserts
The dessert selection was extensive and absolutely delicious.

A must-try is their signature red velvet cake.
Even the ice cream is made in-house—low-fat and low-calorie, so you can indulge guilt-free!

Other highlights included fresh sashimi, grouper fish congee, Peking duck, and a colorful array of fruits. With so many choices, it was hard to decide what to try next!
